Position Summary:
Valbin Corporation is seeking a Team Leader / Journalist to oversee media operations within NATO exercises. This role provides leadership, editorial direction, and coordination across all media functions.
Valbin Corporation’s mission is to provide linguistic support, cultural sensitivity training, project management, and exercise support services to the US Government, NATO, and private sector. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.

**Contingent upon contract award** 

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and coordinate media teams
  • Ensure compliance with simulation rules and objectives
  • Manage timelines, personnel, and deliverables
  • Oversee MEL/MIL-driven storytelling
  • Serve as primary liaison with NATO stakeholders

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of journalism experience
  • Experience supporting military training exercises (≥3 events)
  • Experience operating JEMM and NATO Functional Area Systems
  • Experience working within NATO Command Structure (NCS/NFS)
  • Experience developing MEL/MIL-based media scenarios
  • StratCom planning experience within NATO
  • Experience analyzing COE and NRF operations
  • Leadership and project management experience
  • Must possess an active NATO SECRET security clearance issued by a NATO member nation
  • English proficiency at STANAG 6001 – 3333

Hours of Operation: Training rotation based with ~35 days per year
