Valbin Corporation is seeking an experienced Joint Fires Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support NATO training exercises at the Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) in Bydgoszcz, Poland. This role is responsible for contributing to all Joint Fires aspects of the exercise planning and execution within the framework of multidomain operations. This role will support the development of operational challenges at the tactical level, as well as assist in the development of exercise content and play in a dynamically changing environment.

**Contingent Upon Contract Award**
Responsibilities:
- Assist EXCON in analyzing the TA’s Joint Fires Exercise Goals or Training Objectives (TOs) and set the conditions to meet the TA’s Exercise Goals or TOs with regard to Joint Fires. If required, suggest options to resolve discrepancies to facilitate the achievement of Exercise Goals or TOs.
- Identify TA’s knowledge gaps. Develop and provide Joint Fires learn tutorials or mentoring according to the TA’s needs, in the Development of the Joint Targeting and Joint Fires Campaign.
- Plan, develop and coordinate the conduct of Dynamic/ Free Play in a multidomain environment, allowing to execute freedom of maneuver.
- Identify capability gaps, doctrinal issues, or procedural challenges related to exercise planning and execution.
- Liaise with HICON, LOCON, SIDECON, GREYCELL, WHITECELL, OPFOR and other functional SMEs in order to create coordinated exercise content.
- Coordinate with other stakeholders, that support the Joint Fires Process (TA Leadership, STRATCOM, Legal Advisor, Political Advisor, Host Nations, Cross-JOA units, etc).
- Exercise planning utilizing NATO Exercise Planning Process (EPP) within NATO environment and national level at the OR-8 level or above at retirement.
- Practical experience in NATO comprehensive operational planning (COP), and knowledge of doctrine and procedures at Brigade, Division, Corps, MCLCC or Joint level.
- Practical experience in NATO Joint Targeting for a minimum of 5 years.
- Experience developing realistic exercise injects, incidents, and operational problems and challenges.
- Have in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the NATO Targeting Process, as well as means and methods of Air Land Integration (ALI).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms and desirable familiarity with AI enabled tools for product development and management.
- English proficiency at NATO STANAG 6001 – 3333 level
- Must possess an active NATO SECRET security clearance issued by a NATO member nation.
