Valbin Corporation is seeking an experienced Joint Targeting Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support NATO training exercises at the Joint Force Training Centre (JFTC) in Bydgoszcz, Poland. This role is responsible for contributing to all Joint Targeting and Joint Fires aspects of the exercise planning and execution within the framework of multidomain operations. This role will support the development of operational challenges at the tactical level, as well as assist in the development of exercise content and play in a dynamically changing environment.
Valbin Corporation’s mission is to provide linguistic support, cultural sensitivity training, project management, and exercise support services to the US Government, NATO, and private sector. Based in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area, Valbin has an established and on-going partnership with the US Government through its GSA Schedule and the Valbin Mission Readiness Support Center.

**Contingent Upon Contract Award**

 Responsibilities:
  • Assist EXCON in analyzing the TA’s Joint Targeting and Joint Fires Exercise Goals or Training Objectives (TOs) and set the conditions to meet the TA’s Exercise Goals or TOs with regard to Joint Targeting and Joint Fires. If required, suggest options to resolve discrepancies to facilitate the achievement of Exercise Goals or TOs.
  • Prepare the Joint Targeting System Database to ensure sufficient target data is available for the respective TA in the Joint Target List (JTL).
  • Provide support and advise to the Joint Targeting and Joint Fires portion of the Content Development Workshop for the scripting of incidents and in support of the Dynamic or Free play.
  • Plan, develop and coordinate the conduct of Dynamic/Free Play in a multidomain environment, allowing to execute freedom of maneuver.
  • Identify capability gaps, doctrinal issues, or procedural challenges related to exercise planning and execution.
 Requirements:
  • Exercise planning utilizing NATO Exercise Planning Process (EPP) within NATO and national environments at OF4 level or above at retirement.
  • Practical experience in NATO comprehensive operational planning (COP) and knowledge of doctrine and procedures at brigade, division, corps, or joint level.
  • Experience working in a complex joint operational environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Air and Missile Defence, including Battle Management and NATO BMD.
  • Experience with C UAS / C sUAS and C IED Attack the Network functions.
  • Previous staff officer experience at national or multinational major command and/or joint combined headquarters.
  • Experience developing realistic exercise injects, incidents, and operational challenges.
  • Experience with NATO Targeting Cycle and Air Power Contribution to Land Operations (APCLO).
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft platforms and desirable familiarity with AI enabled tools for product development and management.
  • Experience working in an international environment.
  • English proficiency at NATO STANAG 6001 – 3333 level
  • Must possess an active NATO SECRET security clearance issued by a NATO member nation.

Hours of Operation: Up to 30 man-days within calendar year
