Valbin Corporation is currently recruiting a large number of Civilian on Battlefield (COB) part-time role players for an upcoming opportunity. The work will be performed at a US military base in Hohenfels, Germany. A COB candidate will perform role-playing work at a professional level for the U.S. Army field training exercises.

The purpose of COB role players is to facilitate realistic training scenarios in order to prepare military personnel for real world emergency situations which the unit will likely encounter during operations. The part-time COB will speak level I+ ILR English, level II ILR German, and level II ILR Polish and with superior knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform complex scenarios.

Requirements:

  • Pass a basic fitness test prior to employment
  • Must be able to walk considerable distances (20+ km), carry baggage in arms and on shoulders, and be exposed to simulated fire ranges
  • Must be able to work from a field environment, both inside and outside and in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to work a possible 8+ hour shift
  • Must demonstrate language proficiency in English, German, and Polish with an equivalent ILR (Interagency Language Roundtable) score of 2

General Duties:

  • Accurately depict the local populace through the portrayal of translators, officials, dignitaries, townspeople, resistance forces, etc.
  • Apply cultural knowledge to the realism of military scenarios
  • Provide appropriate social media replication for targeted populace

  • English (ILR Level I+) AND German (ILR Level II) AND Polish (ILR Level II)

Polnisch COB I (w/m/d) (Projektvertrag)

Die Valbin Corporation sucht Rollenspieler (w/m/d) [COBs] für Übungen auf dem Truppenübungsplatz Hohenfels in Bayern. Die COBs übernehmen bei den Übungen einzelne Rollen (z.B. Ladenbesitzer, Bürgermeister, Polizeichef usw.) um eine möglichst realitätsnahe Dorfgemeinschaft in einem Krisengebiet nachzubilden.  Sie erhalten für jeden Arbeitseinsatz jeweils einen Arbeitsvertrag zu kurzfristigen Beschäftigung (sozialversicherungspflichtig).


Voraussetzungen:

  • Bestehen eines Fitnesstests
  • In der Lage größere Distanzen (20km+) auch mit Gepäck zu gehen und einem simulierten Feuergefecht ausgesetzt zu sein
  • Bereit bei allen Wettersituation auch draußen zu arbeiten
  • In der Lage sein 8+ Stunden Schichten zu arbeiten
  • Deutsch- und Polnischkenntnisse auf dem  ILR II / B1-B2 Niveau
  • Englischkenntnisse auf dem  ILR I / A2 Niveau

Aufgaben:

  • Darstellen einer fiktiven Figur innerhalb einer Dorfgemeinschaft (z.B. Ladenbesitzer, Bürgermeister, Polizeichef usw.)
  • Anwendung des kulturellen Wissens zur möglichst realistischen Darstellung eines Einsatzes im Krisengebiet
  • Bildung einer sozialen Gemeinschaft um ein möglichst realitätsnahes Dorfgeschehen je nach Anforderung der übenden Truppe darzustellen

Vorausgesetzte Sprachkenntnisse:

  • Englisch ILR I / A2
  • Deutsch ILR II / B1-B2
  • Polnisch ILR II / B1-B2
